LOVE the checkered flag stripes on the side! I feel they look better than the feline pack stripes...

@Whatsiam, yes for sure the power has increased but not done a dyno... Feels lighter and more pull. Thanks for the compliment.

@Obicat , the feline stripe is nice and mild but I need something more flamboyant to join my rear diffuser and front lip, now it look more streamlined and synergised. Thanks for the approval man !

Nice stripes ! Done at JJ decals ? I hate the weather nowadays, it almost rains every day and my car is parked out in the open. zzz water marks !

I would most probably have to wrap the car in red when it hits the one year mark :)

@KCRCZ, who are you using for the decals ? Im trying to find a place that is good for car wraps and xuan concept seems to have some negative feedback hmm.

@bloodlegna, Well I don't know about their full car wrap quality, but it's the same place I did my lights at Genconcepts and a full car wrap costs $1900. Why do you want to wrap your car?

@KCRCZ, I want to wrap the car to
1) change its colour
2) preserve resale value and the original paint work
3) i've heard wrapping has a lower chance of damaging car equipment because there are less parts to dismantle.

hmm $1.9k is pretty pricey but i heard genconcept is quite famous for their wraps ?

@bloodlegna, better pay a slightly higher price to get a good job done than a bad one right. But seriously , the worker doing the wrapping is usually the foreign workers, I mean they are not supervised or not trained in any specific way. It's really the same I believe.

LED tail lamps? nice! any pics?

I am worried about the wraps for cars. lets say if i use if for 3 years, and decides to remove it. will it affect the paint? will it be "molded" to the car's paint?

I am superchipping my car. from 156 to 200hp.

There are some pics posted by jassy06 in the technical section under lights

Having spoken to jjdecals, according to him, 3M vinyl wraps should not affect the original paintwork. In fact he said that it would help to preserve the paint by protecting it from swirl marks or scratches !

You are importing the superchips from UK ? Is there a dealer in sg ? 190hp and 290nm of torque, mm sounds good. When are you doing it ?

haha this is the Modding Thread that goes on forever..
One place I know can do the BOV in Singapore is at Juzz For Cars.. They do a lot of Mini Cooper S R56's, which is the same engine..
They are not as cheap as some other workshops you can find, but they always argue that you pay for what you get.. haha.. My friend does his R56 there and he loves their workmanship..

random thought: Singapore RCZ drivers want to meet up one day? haha..

Hi Obi, just got the car reflash by monster tune the second time today, the first time tremendous increase of torque that the 1st n 2nd gear is so jerky so today went back to get a new flash, jerkiness is gone and have to let the reflash bed in for afew days to see real result.

@RCZisnice: oh wow, you beat me to the reflash at monster tune ! Found them on the vagsg forum and was emailing them a few days back haha. I understand that because our ECU is locked, they need to "Benchtune" the car ? Btw the auto gearbox can only handle a max torque of 300nm so that may be the cause of the jerkiness.

What did monster tune do to reduce the jerkiness ? please do update the thread after a few days of running in :) I will most probably tune the car after installing the bastuck exhaust !
