My first non-RS Ford -hows my 200 compare ?

1 day old ,black 200 12,000 miles,
Big wrench for me to move from my Focus RS, Cosworths etc.. just wanted a change, so my thoughts
STYLE/LOOKS
Well, the main reason for buying. Anyone who doesn't think its the most beautiful car one the road must be a complete kipper..unsurpassed
PERFORMANCE
Lovely smooth quiet engine, nice power delivery,fast pick-up, plenty of horses on tap with a vivacious sound.mmmmmmmm
200 ish feels about right. Pleased
INTERIOR
Just what the doctor ordered, well put together with nice leather, like the steering wheel size and feel, love it
HANDLING
Great, big fat tyres, lovely alloys, pleasing
RIDE
Dont like the wheel shock on these crap roads, biggest downer. No need for it. Suspension firm but fine
BRAKES
Very good, progressive, confident
GEARBOX
Close and precise,Good
If you haven't nodded off by now, there it is , up on a lift tomorrow ,give the wheels a good polish back and front, repaint
brakes and backplates and clean it underneath and wipe all suspension down,
I JUST WISH PEOPLE WOULNT LOOK FOR A RACE ALL THE TIME, FOR GODS SAKE LEAVE ME ALONE 1000cc BOY RACERS

Hi D.Taylor.Nice report on your new '200'.Agree with the cap.letters at the end.Bought an 'R'3 weeks ago.Had an 'M5 diesel' tried it on the other day.I hate it when my fuel consumption drops below 35 mpg.Great Cars though! Enjoy.TELEVISION.
