Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for some help regarding a diagnostic report on my 2014 Peugeot RCZ (see the attached report).

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to an official Peugeot representative in my area, so I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me identify these errors:

  • BSI (3 DTCs):
    • F569: Power relay and centralized power switch detected open
    • C56E: Power relay and centralized power switch detected open while driving—open circuit
    • FFFE: Battery charge status box—telecoding fault
  • Battery Charge Status Box (BECB_GEN2—1 DTC):
    • FFFE: Telecoding fault—uncategorized
  • Engine Service Box (BSM—1 DTC):
    • FFFE: No faults detected
In addition to the error codes, every time I start the car, I get the message “Battery charge or electrical supply fault again” on the dashboard. I have already replaced the battery, but the warning keeps coming back and the STOP indicator light is always on.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or can offer advice on what might be causing it? Any tips on what to check next would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Search on this forum for "Battery Module". Lots of posts about it. Some sound like the problems you are having.
Good luck.

It’s a fairly cheap module. It’s located on top of the battery, you must have seen it already when changing the battery.
