Moving from a Diesel to an R

Im the very proud owner of a Mk1 diesel RCZ. Still love the car and it's never given an ounce of trouble. Thinking about upgrading to a 1 year old R that my local dealer has for sale. Has anyone moved into an R from a diesel and what did you think? Really interested to know!

I had 2 RCZs (both petrol) before I got my R. I'll just say that you won't regret buying a R. The difference is chalk and cheese. If you are worried about reliability then don't be. I can't recall reading anything about any R owners having any such issues.

You won't regret it , we had 156 petrol first for four years and have had the R for four months now ,it's awesome.biggest issue is if when we go out in the R is who drives it , me or my wife .( we don't have that issue with my Volvo , it's always me !)

Make sure and check that the brakes ain't squealing at low speeds, if they are then I think there is a recall on them Alcon discs and pads. You don't want squealing brakes on an R :eusa-whistle:
