hello guys, Please delete if this is not aloud or in the incorrect section as wasnt sure where to put this.

There is a new facebook group around called Modified RCZ Owners Group.
this is a group for people with a love of modifying there RCZ
this is not a group to post about problems with your car or put a downer on things.
we have only been going around 6 months but have been doing great things!
we dont have many members on the group but this is because we monitor and if people dont post or contribute to the group then they are removed or if they are not interested in modifying and just want to be noisey then they get removed.
we are not about numbers we are about a helpful group to share our modified rcz's.

already we have business cards for shows.
we have a company who supply all our stickers (including Rainbow Chrome) mugs, hoodies, t-shirts
we also have a company who supply our show plates.
we also offer custom made items just for our modified owners such as custom made rear diffusers with fins on, rcz light cup holders, diffuser fins (to come), special discount codes and more!

we are also attending french car show with our own show stand and if you would like to be on our stand join our group and message an admin for details.

we are a very friendly group and would love to find more modified rcz's

thanks for your time.

I’m afraid I personally don’t do Facebook but I am passionate about my RCZ and the modifications I’ve made and the plans I have for modifications in the future. I think you’ll find most RCZ owners who enjoy the forum also have modified their cars I recently attended the RCZ Euro meet in Holland where there were 99 modified (in some way or another)RCZ’s. What I also enjoy is the social meet ups with likeminded owners and through the forum have made lifelong friends. I understand what your trying to achieve with your group but I think you’ve over used the term “Removed” and probably put many owners off even enquiring.
Anyway good luck and I look forward to seeing your modified stand at the French car show

thats fair enough mate. 2bh like i said we dont want big numbers of people talking nonsense. we want people passionate about modifying and will contribute to the group. most groups are about numbers and accept anyone with thousands of people who dont no what there on about, talk complete rubbish and just cover the group in rubbish. we dont want that so as long as people are modifiying and contributing to the group then they are fine. it doesn't even have to be regular but we want to grow strong and have a close community of friends like you have just stated. the only people we have removed are people that add just to talk about problems with their car such as high pressure fuel pumps ect and nothing relevant to modifiying or people that come on dont put a pic of there car (one of our rules) and just dont post anything at all or contribute in any way at all. we dont see the point in these people cluttering the group up so we remove them.
make sure you come over and say high. i have just posted some pics of my car on the newbie section.
cheers

I would just like to re-iterate what Neil has said...

But also would like to congratulate you for giving the RCZ another group of enthusiasts. The more people who are interested in their RCZ, the more looked after or modified in your case Z's there are about, and that can only be a good thing for the longevity of the brand.

I too like to personalise my car but I am in a slightly different position, in that I have a R and though like to tinker, don't want to tinker to the state that I cannot put it back to original, just in case in the future I have to put it back for selling dare I swear like that - but you never know. It's a nice predicament, but wanting to maximise the resale value or spoiling a possible future classic, it's difficult to mod too much. though I would like to have a few more ponies out of the engine, say upto 300BHP and to have more audio coming from the exhaust, if you get my drift ?

Unfortunately, I don't do the facebutt thing either which is a pitty in some respects because I may be missing out, though seeing people posting that they are stood in a queue just about to buy a tin of beans, does nowt for me, so it's left a sour taste, plus other underlying issues.

Keep up the good work though and will look out for you at the show...

Cheers M.

I recently joined this group, although I don’t do FB that often, I have been a member of the FB RCZ owners for some time. I simply like to find out as much as possible about the Z and what people are managing to do with theirs.

I recently posted pictures of a few mods I have done, including the anodised rings that Richard is selling, and that seems to have generated quite some interest with members of this new group, and I believe he has had a few orders already.

It is good to see some of the more adventurous mods that some have achieved, although I’m pretty sure I will never go down that route.

It seems that we might even get a few more members on here now that I have pointed this forum out, as it appears we were not known to the majority on there.

I hope that the OP will continue to visit us, as I intend to do so with his group, sharing info can only be a good thing

Thanks guys, yes I'm one of the people who ordered the anodised rings :).
I guess I'm the opposite to what people are saying. I'm a Facebook geek haha I new about this forum for a while but never used it for the simple fact it's a very long winded website with so many different categories I wouldn't no where to start and a lot of posts get missed because of that many section's. However Facebook group it's just one page. You get notifications when someone posts and it's just one click to open the group up and it's all there to see. Plus me using my phone and not a computer makes it even more difficult using the website. However spending a good couple of hours yesterday looking through I have noticed this is a very good forum with lots of information and is miles ahead of our club in terms of well everything but it would be nice if the modified page molded with this forum and added to part of the forum to like you say get more rcz's put on the map and get them more well known.

On this forum you can look at unread posts and/or new posts since the last time your visited.

I'm on this forum (obviously) and the Facebook group page as well, I joined this forum once I had bought but not had delivery of my RCZ.
I don't post that often unless I can help out, with info, very really do I post (this is one if those rare one) where I'm expressing my opinion.

But as you said if you don't post that often I will be removed.

If you see my posts here and Facebook RCZ Owners group I help out with the technical side of things, or part numbers if original parts etc.

I'm not really into modifying as such.

Here is what I've done to my RCZ.
