Mobile phone mounts

I would like to ask the forum if I may, how do you mount or where do you place your mobiles when your in the car?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and I can't seem to find a suitable place to mount it.

So,
1) How do you mount your mobiles?
2) Where do you mount it?
3) What do you use to mount it?

I have a galaxy note 3 as well, usually it stays in my pocket otherwise it's in the slot above the heater controls (just fits) or if it's charging in the slot below ashtray.

As I don't look at my phone when driving I don't need to mount it anywhere.

I can Bluetooth calls and apparently stream music.

Same here. It's usually in the boot in my bag.

Under social circumstances it's sometimes in one of my trouser pockets. However, since I find that a bit uncomfortable, I put it in the door pocket or in the slot in the centre console. Only trouble with that is I sometime leave it behind.

I use a Lenovo Yoga tablet for a Sat Nav. This sits reasonably well on the top edges of the ashtray if this is pulled open by a few centimetres. A small amount of non-slip mat stops it from skating away when going around bends.

More annoying for me is how to run a wire from the 'auxiliary socket' to the dashboard without it being visible? At the moment I've got a ninety degree offset USB socket and tucked the wire under the gearstick trim then down the passenger side of the 'transmission tunnel', tucked under the edge of this and the carpet, up behind the glovebox, up and underneath the door rubber, tucked between the dash and door pillar, along the well between the dash and windscreen and finally up the middle of the dash to the speed camera warning device. I'm surprised that there isn't another auxiliary socket in the glovebox, it would make things much neater...

this is how i mount my sat nav but it could work for a phone and can be removed with ease
