Oh no do we really need yet another mini and a coupe version of the countryman. At least it's better looking than that countryman monstrosity. Come BMW enoughs enough killing the golden goose and all that.

Not a bad colour of blue thou. Looks a bit like a range rover evoque from the side

I totally agree. They gone way too far with all their different models now and it's starting to get silly. That's one ugly car :(

Dan i agree the 1st new mini was great i had a copper s and wouldn't have a bad word said about. Bar the firm ride its a pocket rocket and drives well like a BMW should, but the prices for what u get are ridiculous every and i mean everything are optional extras, and u can't buy a basic one cause without the goodies there terrible looking.

Re: Mini pace man

I had a Cooper, not S, and although I liked it, didn't fall for it totally. The ride was way too hard with the run flat tyres and in the end was getting real bad shoulder pains just trying to keep the car driving in a straight line. It was like driving a go cart and went round corners like it was on rails, but in the end it had to go.

Re: Mini pace man

All BMW's are the same as soon as u get it u need to dump the run flats for regular tyres totally transform the ride and handling

Re: Mini pace man

This Paceman is about as useless of a car as they come. Look at it like this:

The Paceman is a two door, therefore less practical version of the Countryman with a chopped roof for less headroom in the back, and an unnecessary all-wheel drive system so you can go through some snow. It's too big to be a great urban explorer, and too soft for the occasional forest duty. So what would make it better? Mini thought giving it more power and getting rid of the ground clearance by adding a sports suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The more they try, the worse they make it.

Maybe you should have them inflated before usage?

Yeah, and you know what seagulls are full of.

Fish. Yeah.

What? What? It makes as much sense as BMW launching the Paceman

It's the old Eric Cantona poem riddle wot every didn't make sense then or now. But it's a BMW so ugly or not they'll still shift lorry loads of them bar the 5 series GT. Put bimmer badge on and watch it fly outta showroom, even thou its a mini badge on it everyone knows its really a entry level BMW

forgive my poor french but i think it was something like, "quand les mouettes suivent un bateau de peche, c'est parce qu'elles pensent que des sardines seront jetees a la mer".
I'm sure a francophone will be along shortly to correct my punctuation

Yup, he said, "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much." It does actually make sense though. He just used it in the wrong context.

Anyone else see the resemblance between Blakey's mouth and the Paceman's grill?...
