Hi all, we have an outside table for us at The Wavendon Arms first port of call they have umbrellas and heaters if the weather breaks. So, I will do us all badges and if you'd like to tell me what you want to drink, will have those ready for your arrival!

Same will be ready for us after parade up Woburn Sands High Street at The Royal Oak for lunch.

Can someone do some photo's?

The drive to the first pub is less than half a mile for me haha :D
It's just a tad further for me.....................176 mi, 2 hours 50 mins In current traffic:

Least ya get a decent drive, I might have to take a long route to get car warm :D
I never understand when people say that a meet is too far. How can you drive too far in a RCZ ?

When your journey looks like this it's utterly understandable!!
At least u wouldn't need a boat :)

Suzanne, the Wavendon Arms looks very nice whereas the Royal Oak looks a bit less so. Also from what little information is available on the internet it doesn't look as though they serve food there. Has it been revamped recently?

No sadly it hasn't been revamped but is my local (supporting the small guy) and the Landlord there is very happy for us to bring our own food in on the day, so I will be arranging that and taking it to the pub.....however if everyone would prefer to stay at the Wavendon Arms, I can arrange for them to do the food for us - let me know asap and can call Wavendon to arrange - need drinks orders in too by Thursday latest folks

Suzanne, I wasn't trying to alter your plans for the day, I was just puzzled by the fact that there was no reference to food being served at the Royal Oak! I'm not sure any of us were aware that you were going to provide the food.

I was going to say I'd come as well (if not too late) but Gill and I don't eat meat so will that cause you a problem?

A pub is a good pub if it serves good ale. I'll be up for a pint of Bitter  Really looking forward to meeting a few more members

You RCZ hussy Ron

I know. However I do find a certain kinship at these events. Hence my regular appearance. Plus it's an excuse to take the car for a good run out and enjoy the RCZ ownership
