Hi!

I was comfortably driving along today when I got a warning message. Diagnosed it and found code P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow sensor 'A' circuit.

I checked under the hood, and I guess my oil cap is worn and had worked its way open, because the engine bay is covered in a film of oil. Oil level hasn't dropped noticably since then.

I've screwed it shut tightly and kept driving, and it went away, until about an hour later the CEL came on with the same code.

Could those two issues be related? Is the code common?

All the Peugeot service places are booked through the next month, so if this is an easy fix I'd definitely do it myself.

I appreciate any help I can get!

Thanks

Thanks! I'll try it tomorrow. I just put a new air filter in, so if it's full of oil I'll know why :(

Tiny bit of shininess in there, but how do I get to the actual sensor to clean it?

Is it worth it to order a new one? 60 euros and a few days' wait is definitely an investment
