Making better use of ourdoor spaces.

Soo.. I (we) are moving into the new hose soon...

It has a lovely enclosed rear garden and a fair bit of paved space that I think would be a great space if I could somehow "reclaim it inside" if that makes sense.

Im thinking some sort of glass "lean to" so when looking out the kitchen it feels like your looking outside but has the benefit of being usable for more of the time...

Am I off my rocker or has anyone came across this kinda stuff before?!

The space in Blue on the ground floor plan is what id like to get more use of so any ideas would be appreciated!

You mean a bit like a glass/perspex roofed carport type of thing .... something that's defo 'outside' but a bit of shelter from the weather/flying vermin?
As opposed to a mahoosive conservatory with two brick sheds in it?

Have you tried a quick query to Thistle/Bon-Accord Glass, it might be more common than you think? I think's a great idea

Definetly not a "conservatory" simply due to the logistics but just something that will mean we can use the space more often.

Ill give bon accord a quick holler but would for whats in my mind im more than confident I could design it myself if its kept simple.

Only issue I can see would be the door to the back comes off the kitchen which -if i kept it simple - would not lead directly into the new sun space.

Its a great wee area and totally sheltered from the wind so I would like to make the most of it!
