Low coolant warning

Got the low coolant warning message the other day. Pulled over in a tesco and had a look and yup it was low. So I let the engine cool and bought some coolant to top it up. Sitting at the max level the message kept on periodically appearing. Got it booked in on monday to have a look at. The guy on the phone said it sounded like a dodgy sensor and he's replaced one before so hopefully it won't be anything complex than that! :?

I would have hoped that they would have taken a lot more care of your car and avoided getting your interior covered in grease.

As would I. I made it clear that I wasn't happy before I left the dealership. They offered to clean the seats but I told them to leave it. Didn't want anyone else to be touching my car anymore than they have to.

I certainly won't be taking my car back there unless I have to

Was getting the same message here, and my coolant tank was draining.

The dealers explanation was a broken water pump. I was told that the original container was plastic and the replacement part is metallic and this should fix the problem. Anybody else got the same info?

I had mine water pump replaced Sime days ago as the dealer figured that it was the leading pump which caused the draining.

Before the replacement the leak was like 500ml in a month.
