Wow. I didn't quite expect that welcome.

Thank you everyone for your kind welcome and suggestions. I will most definitely look at the nail varnish route before a refurb, as no doubt I will do it myself while getting used to the width. (My previous car was a 90's Ford Ka...)

I will also be trying to polish out the scuff this weekend and, if I get the chance, will post up some photos to show what I'm talking about.
