loss of power coming home

help came out of work. driving home car started juddering loss of power all way home. only reached on off 4th on motorway then coming junction 1st gear. ten 2nd got it home cooler wud to go off again had this bother we it before but not loss of power. any help please i'm a lady also. i'm sick of this car now.

Had all sorts done we this car it’s costing me a fortune. Help needed. My Merchantic Carnt get out to it today. But I’m thinking he doesn’t want to work on it again. This it Whst it had done 4 week ago. Temp gauge still takes ages to reach half way.

Did you get any fault codes ?
The juddering could be fuel pressure dropping due to a HPF pump fuel pressure sensor/rail issue/plugs coil packs or a power train sensor on the engine failing could also cause these problems temp gauge fault kicks the fan on so there could be a coolant sensor problem ?

No codes as no one get get to look at it so I’m stuck at min. It’s juddering like hell shaking engine. So Carnt drive it as when put foot on excelater judders like hell.

Maybe its not firing properly which can make it shake like mad but without any codes its not plausible to assume the obvious faults is the EML light lit up on the dash or a stop warning ?

That will mean the ECU has triggered fault codes giving pointers as to what's gone wrong with the engine if you do get someone to scan it post the codes on here

Get a cheap bluetooth ODB-2 connector like ELM327 and with a mobile app like Torque you will be able to to read the fault codes
