Hi Wayne. I have an Hdi on order. I think the general consensus is that if you do a reasonable number of motorway journeys of half an hour or more then they are bomb proof. It's only those that get used exclusively around town that suffer the usual dpf regeneration issues that seem to plague all diesels these days.

That was very succinctly put John. I fully agree with statements already made and will add that it is amazing to drive . The torque means you can block change gears as well as simply accelerate to overtake, it has so much ooooph

I've had a new HDi For a week now and it's great to drive! Very quick and overtaking is great!

I've had the HDI since march the 1st. I can't fault it. I drive mainly locally but once a week I take it for a little blast. This seems to keep it running smooth. My old car was a Renault megane sports tourer 1.5 dci. I'm getting a better MPG than I was with that car. The engine is so flexible. I get quite lazy with the gear box as it just seems to pull smoothly in any gear. Talking of gears. The gear box of the facelift HDI is beautiful. Short shift and very precise. Oh and it's like shit off of a shovel. :)

This is Finland, so everything is "expensive" anyway :)

Been well impressed with mine.

Even ventured as far as Anglesey Circuit, to watch a friend bike racing.
Just a steady drive up the motorway.. !!! LOL
Average fuel consumption 50 mpg.

Better than my 308 HDi sport.
