Oh no..not the mk1 v mk2 controversy back again.Anyone that comes in at the bottom of the market will of course say they prefer the MK1,but of course they would do so wouldnt they?I think you all know the wrappers thoughts by now.No one buys a mk 1 by choice, they buy it on budget. This applies to the second hand market only. I saw the early cars and thought it was a
daring design for such a boring manu to do.Pug tried to impose the corporate nose on it to help boost image.I thought it ruined the car so i left off buying it and looked elsewhere. Then i heard that they ahd sorted the front, seen one and seen that they had now got it right(and introduced the black rails to round off the car).I then decided to go buy...a very nice car,and all for 28k.I will maybe keep the car for another year, when the MOT nonsense starts.I realise that to replace it i will have to move into the 2 or 3 times the price bracket to get anything styling wise of the rcz.And it certainly will not be a pug.

No controversy intended, but I do genuinely prefer it. In my eyes it suits the car better, but not everyone sees it the same way. However, the fact that you personally have more money to spend doesn't render other people's opinions invalid. But, each to their own!

Anyway, got the test drive booked in... Let's see how it goes!

When you insinuate that I am sending viruses to members, then I'm not the happiest, especially when other member read your post and think that is what I do.
I know your type, throw something out there then try and step away from it by trying to make the other member look aggressive. I am not being aggressive just not happy for the reasons mentioned.

Thing is I've not been angry or I would have used an angry face :),being accused of sending members viruses is low, even for wrapper but I am looking forward to his reply to my question.

Totally agree no one buys the mk1 for preference reason always down to budget. Well said, but if its a choice of mk1 or audi tt i would go for a mk1 rcz!

No, i was only expressing my own opinion, what i have to spend does not come into it.All are entitled to post what their thoughts are of course on the forum.I see that you are relatively new to the forum, dont feel belittled in any way by any posts here.

Sorry mate but you did start the nonsense and now you are throwing insults at other members opinions because you dissagree? This was the very reason you was upset about before! Wrapper has his opinions just like you do, just like i do and every other member, you can dissagree but insults not required. Peace out dude
