I collected my RCZ last Friday and surprised to see that the fuel cap is not locking. I keep the car on the road and don't feel comfortable with this at all.

Yup, if car is locked the fuel cap will also be locked so no need to worry.

Welcome to the club by the way - we would love to see some pictures of your new pride and joy!

When I bought the car it had obviously been refueled by people unaware of the system, breaking the latch trying to close the cap when the car was locked.
You should see the pin moving when opening/closing the car.
They replaced my cap so that the latch was in place again so that the pin could lock again.
