I get it! I like it. I too would like to change my number plates and yours look kinda good. Pearl2 would look good replacing your 'Lil Minx and of course OO58 RON would replace the DV11ANT but apart from that...... So please tell me where and how and what style/type face etc etc I would need to be an almost copy cat

watch out for the number plate recognishion cameras. they prefer a space between the letters. i was pulled once for it and nearly had the vehicle banned from the road.

Yup I know it's a tad risky, I also have my old plates from my Lexus

L33EXY

Had it like that with no space for 5 years and no probs, except I had a different set for the MOT....I do see some BAD spacing out on the roads tho, this is only 4mm out..

I've got a standard set already made up as a just in case.....I'll keep 'em in the boot in case I get our chums in blue..ok black nowadays..don't like it....

Police officer 'nah give me producer...Anyone remember that fine tune???? :eusa-whistle:

Hiya

Glad you approve/get it

I hope it's ok to put the web address for the plate company here, Mods remove if it's not

www.number1showplates.co.uk

The font is Legal Standard 3D

You can design the plates on their website, mine cost £23.44 inc VAT and 1st Class Mail.

Extremely swift service too.

Hope this assists

Well I got mine ordered today, thanks to Davie. I assume that as they will not have the suppliers post code on them that they are "show plates" rather than legal? albeit they are in a legal format

These chaps are actually from Eire I think and nothing but what you put on the design is added.

Hope they arrive safe and as swiftly as mine did.

Looking forward to the pic!

Shop around enough and you can get them with the Kite mark on, (honest officer would they be illegal with the BS Kite mark on ? ) and made of plastic (which they must be) and you will need set for the MOT, or just don't have a car that old ! It could be the first MOT moves out to four years soon anyway.

I can't foresee too many problems. They have legal lettering, colour and spacing. If I could be organised enough I could have taken my documents somewhere and had them done totally legal. I basically just want to get the main dealers name of off the plate
