...soooo i spoke to one of my buds who drive a 6R Polo GTI.... apparently the LED's he fitted to the Polo made a short and concked out the electrics.

Any of you guys experienced this? My LED's arrived in the post but now I am to darn scared to fit them

(ok so the causing fire bit was just to get your attention but shorting out electrical systems is just as bad :police: )

I've had my LEDs fitted since August last year and I've not had any problems with them. I just have my side lights / DRLs done but there are a few others who have fitted these plus more without issue.

Cool thanks! You can imagine the excitement being somewhat errrmm... extinguished... when my LED's arrived and then be informed that it stuffed up a mates car LOL!

Thanks alot for the info!

A short is a short no matter what bit of kit causes it. In theory a badly made filament bulb could cause the same issue as a badly made led. So I'd just echo the above, the chances of having problems diminishes greatly with quality parts.

True story!!
True & story do not go together. True = fact. Whereas, Story = fiction,

Nah a story is just a retelling of events. It can be fact or fiction.

Like I always say. You get what you pay for. Unless of course you allow yourself to get ripped off and then you pay for what you don't get.

That's easy: install it in your car, and when it makes a short it was a crap one...

I checked your prices and although they are pretty good your shipping didnt have SA on the list. So i found ones that cost around the same as yours, with 1 year warranty but with free shipping to South Africa.

If you add South Africa to your list i will start using you

We will add SA to the shipping destination for the bulbs, not had this request before.

So I clear up what I said above about "...and you didn't buy it for us too!", this was aimed at if they do short out as we do not sell crap bulbs
