Ill have a look at that. Is it the new headlight clusters ect?

It may have to go way way down on my list of things to do though lol. I saw Euro car parts do the xenon headlights for nearly £1,000 a side  :wtf:  :-o

There's a reason why you can't retro fit xennon lights too readily. You need headlight washers a bunch of rewiring etc. I think wouter is referring to an HID conversion kit. This isn't the same thing. Also, it'll negate part of your warranty and won't pass an MOT test.

Im not going to bother trying to retrofit the xenons then lol. I think the light output on the normal lights are fine though, I just like the look of the xenons.

Upgrading your bulbs would be my suggestion.

I did like the osram nightbreaker plus bulbs I had in my SW. Might give them a go :) Either that, or get HIDs and risk the MOT lol.

Retrofitting Xenon light is definitely not a realistic option. I know a dealer wanted to do so on my original RCZ. He discovered that it was not an option.

I had aftermarket HID lights on my 406 before but i always changed them to the original bulbs when going for the MOT as it wouldn't pass with them. No problem tho. Takes 5 minutes and it's only once/year so it's not that exhausting to change....

Will my/everyone's LED DRL's result in an MOT failure? Have my first one next Feb so a fair way off, but be good to know!

Strictly speaking they aren't entirely road legal so I'd check with your chosen test centre.

Honestly, how would any MOT guy know what's standard or not on an RCZ? Pretty sure it would pass with the LED's aswell.

"Me: i've no idea, it was like that when i bought it....!"

They would have to do hours worth of research just to bust you for a pair of bulbs

While I don't entirely disagree with you, it's fairly easy to discover I'd say and it isn't worth taking the risk of a failure and the incurred cost of a re test.
