i need a bit of advice gang :wtf: i spend alot of time cleaning the car as we all do and my problem is this the sun can be shining car goes out for the first time since its been cleaned with the wife to work the safest place to park it is next to a laundrette where the flue pumps out fluff and it goes all over the car  so within minutes it looks dirty it does not blow off on the way home and if it rains on it . it sticks to it question is can i use something like an instant detailer to clean/wipe it off at the moment i end up washing it off each day to keep it looking sharp as the charcoal does show it up more ANY IDEAS !!!! asked the wife to change job :eusa-think:  not keen :)

Hi mel, I know this is going to be a contentious response with those opposed to waterless cleaners but I use one every now and then between washes when I just need a spruce-up and there isn't actual grit/grime, and I think they work very well. If it's just fluff I think it should be okay. Just remember to use plenty of the cleaner so that you're not rubbing DRY paintwork and use a microfibre cloth(s) to apply/buff off. Good luck

I would be far too paranoid of causing swirls using an instant detailer! The person that detailed my car would kill me if I undid all his hard work!

I would agree with this too. A definite no-no

Can she not park the car somewhere else, even if it means a bit further to walk ?

its a bit of a problem because its a private car park so the car is safe the only other ones around could leed to the car getting a scratch or dent  i was going to use the chemical guys hybrid v7 but i guess i will carry on with washing it . we had a blue 207cc before and it never really showed on that but on charcoal it does . the wife said if its a problem she can always retire :wtf:   it just knocks your neck in within 10minutes of it being at work its dirty again i thought of a cover ! but i think it will draw to much attention / possibly get nicked / and i dont think the wife would be to happy fitting it . or should i trade it in for a different colour ..... lol :helpme:
