Lacquer peeling from rear bumper

Hi All,

Just noticed that in 2 places the lacquer is starting to peel from my 2014 RCZ rear bumper, would a car paint lacquer brushed on solve this? or is there another way?.

Would appeciate any help.

My mate owns a body shop & he reckons cars have been resprayed when that happens patching it may work but its hit & miss as temps affect the finish

Only way to cure is a respray of said bumper...you can polish edges of peel to level but it will be matter of time before moisture lifts more off.
