New to here, not new to forums however. New to owning my first RCZ, a 2014, grey in 2.0 HDi flavour... and love it!
Owned a 306 2.0 HDi and was besotted with that, was my pride and joy. When the RCZ came out I joked that one day I would own one...years later and here I am, albeit a bit late to the clan.
I'll be looking around and getting to know this place and the people, also looking forward to getting to know my new (old) car and some of the gremlins that I can tinker and fix.
Hi, and see you all around!

Thank you. I have just discovered today that the dreaded nearside (UK) window regulator is fubar! First it started failing to go up completely, returning back down...then the cable broke ffs lol! I heard it and I think the motor only goes in one direction now too, seemingly down only.
I've had a search on the forum and it seems quite common.
Now 'tis held up with wood. I could get replacement cables from eBay but now im worried about the bloody motor being trash.

Should I start a new thread requesting further insight and help on this?

Hi and welcome
My drivers side broke last winter, glass got frozen to the rubber, so when I pulled the door handle the window tried to drop but couldn’t so motor kept trying and broke some plastic parts in the mechanism
Managed to get a complete window regulator inc motor

I bought the replacement cables from eBay and fitted those...what an absolute bitch to do. I then refitted the regulator and the cable snapped after sending it up then down. I was proper happy that it worked...when it broke I felt sooo pissed off. So I decided to splurge and buy a brand new regulator for 344 quid. Fitted it hoping that the motor was still OK and...works absolutely perfect now. I think the original regulator must have been that worn or naff that it just didnt want to go on living.
So now its sorted and all back together :)

Just changed all the front end bushes and engine mounts, she feels great to drive...however, since reconnecting the battery I have an abs and esp light that I think is the module on top of the battery, so I now have to investigate this...

The joys of being a peugeot owner :/
