Hi there, picked up an R few days ago. Was looking at Gen1 Caymans, Evora, 370z etc as possible next car and stumbled on the RCZ-R last week was totally smitten by the design, concept etc. Missed one by a week from when I was looking and then managed to bag one in the colour I wanted which was a bonus.

She's now washed, polished and waxed it and it is now sparkling in the red and looking beautiful, very happy with it, it goes really well, holds the road and is fun to drive, seen one RCZ since owning. Been looking through posts to glean info and tips on the site. Got 18 months Peugeot Extended Warranty so have some piece of mind. I am after a touch up stick for the red code says KJCC (?) on the chassis can anyone confirm that the colour for me please as local dealer said it was KJC Erythree which doesn't sound right.

This is a definite keeper!

Hi and welcome to the forum :greetings-wavingblue: well you’ve definitely jumped into a super car there! Glad your enjoying it and if others on here are anything to go by it just gets addictive from here on!

The R is a rare beast so you’ve done well finding one for sale definitely one that’s going to gain in value!

I might be slightly biased but can only agree with Neil, you've bought a fantastic car in a lovely colour, the Moroccan red really does polish up nicely.
This is a car that shouts" drive me " everytime you look at it, it comes contagious you just have to give in.
It's happy on the motorway just cruising along, but get it on some clear back roads and it really comes alive. The RCZ's road holding ability with the low down wide footprint is very planted and the R seems to take this up a notch.
Having taken mine to the Alps a couple of times, I can really vouch for its abilities.
Send in some pics and your welcome if you like to drive and socialise, we have meets and drives throughout the year. If you look through the forum you will see this weekend is the biggest meet of the year, which sadly next year will be the last, this is a 125 car convoy in Holland,. A sight to savour.
Enjoy your driving and watch out for the stiff neck you get when doing a double take when you park up !!
Cheers M....

Welcome to R family!
You had some proper candidates on your list. Glad you went for the RCZ R.
If you are into a spirited drive, and I assume you are, you will love her. There is something about this car, somewhere in between the steering, the engine response and the road grip which always feels to me like magic.
I came from Renault Sport cars, so I am a bit spoiled. M cars I know as well and a regular ride in Audi RS models is also a common thing for me. Oh, let's not forget about Honda's TypeR models. And the notorious 911.
Still the RCZ R took me by the storm. I ordered it blindfolded. No test drives were available back then.

Enjoy it!

You are right there is something about the car, I feel very connected and that has not happened in many other performance cars I have driven. I did not even test drive it before I bought it, went out for 5mins with the owner driving. I based my decision on the research on the internet, this forum (some of your posts), car reviews and youtube, the consensus was/is it's a great car nicely engineered by Peugeot Sport, I like the fact the design is bespoke and slightly leftfield from a manufacturer who has not built a decent road car for some time and then the RCZ! Makes it even more appealing, it makes me feel good just looking at her parked up! :D

Yes 20v turbo for the last 16 years, love it! The RCZ-R shows me how much turbo charged engines and front wheel drive vehicles have progressed; it's awesome. Few other toys in there as well.

Great choice - car and colour.

Is that a vx200 in the garage?

Love a vx220 very nearly bought one but wouldn't fit in the garage and those foot wide sills mean you need space at the side to open the doors! Enjoy your R!
