My old Chuzz Butt, you do right to stay away from my partner. I bagged her first  Welcome back and sorry to hear that you too now have the bug. She's damn good at causing us to spend our money isn't she  But the results are worth every penny.

I'm guessing that our meet at your little dam is now not happening?

Hi Ron, cheers for the welcome back. At the moment the little dam has some major groundworks on the go so I am afraid it isn't able to happen anytime soon. I haven't forgotten about it.

You need to buy yourself a little van :).

So I take it you don't have a generator or a water tank ? Also, often overlooked but a necessity is indemnity insurance. Things can/will/do go wrong - accidents happen. You just need to keep yourself covered.

A van could well be needed young lady :) my feet are firmly on the ground and have considered what you suggested. For the time being It's friends and family but the more interest then yes I will need the insurance. The other 2 I just don't have the funds for so I will have to limit my market to water and electric supplied. Not ideal but in time things can change ;-)

Well after a frustrating delivery I'm pleased to say I have pretty much all the bits I need. Apologies for the poor picture quality (phone camera) and the broken up pictures. I seriously don't have enough room in my lounge to lay it all out at once

Here's the spot light and "sun gun"

Laser Temp gun and paint thickness gauge.

Spray bottles for diluted products.

The brushes collection, still awaiting the EZ Detailing Brush mini.

Metro Vac n Blo with additional turbo brush.

Buckets and mechanics seat.

DA Polisher, with backing plates and pads with their own storage box.

2 Yeti wash mitts, 2x wash mitts for wheels, hand polishing pads and a whole box of varied microfiber cloths. No cheapies either.

A whole collection of chemical guys products. I really like using them and managed to strike up a deal ;)

And here it is all packed up with a collapsable trolley and hop up work platform (for use on roofs and higher vehicles)

Apologies for the long geeky post, but some of you did ask :D Roll on the bank holiday weekend when amber gets the full monty and so does an astra sportive van. Cheers everyone.

Enjoy the smiles and miles.

Wow Wow and Wow !

God that must have cost you a very pretty penny :eusa-whistle:

Can I ask where you got the spotlight from? I'm currently looking for a new "sun gun" and spotlight. The spotlight looks like one I was recommended by another detailing friend.

You will have to post the results of your hard work young man :greetings-wavingblue:

Yes it has cost a small fortune but its an investment to a degree so I was happy spending it ;)

The spot light I got from Machine Mart, they go for about 80 bucks. It has 2 settings, half and full power and I must say it is quite bright, think full is 2200 lumens. On full power it should last 3 hours, half power up to 7 hours and comes with a 240v charger and one for the 12V socket. Also has a handy USB port if you need to charge a phone or iPod.

I will most certainly post up photos, and we have a Facebook page that is in progress to where all the photos will go.
