What's up all! You old timers will maybe remember me and hello to all the new.

Thought I'd drop a quick line to say thanks to RCZ1, Rizzo, bigmac and any others that helped with my newbie detailing questions when I first plucked up the courage to work on Amber. Well thanks to you guys and lovely gals its kind of gone and turned into a bit of an obsession and I'd love to turn it into a career. I'll post photos to this thread as and when I work on vehicles. In the meantime, keep safe and keep detailing.

Rock on!

Hello again Young Man - how you swinging ? ;)

Well what do you know, another person has seen the light ! :). I wish you all the luck in the world with your new endeavour and hope that it really works out for you.

Look forward to seeing the results of the cars you do.

BTW, any chance of a partnership ? :)

Aye up young lady, things are swinging good although it has been one crazy winter regarding work. Hopefully 120hr weeks are done for this year. Yes I well and truely have the bug and so does my best mate now to, 32 man hours on his work van planted that seed ;-)

I'm not sure Ronaldo would be impressed with our partnership so best not stand on his toes

Welcome back chuzzbutt! As part of my initial welcoming committee when I joined the forum just over a year ago you have been missed. Good luck with your new venture. If only you weren't so far away from Worcestershire....

Blimey - 120 hr weeks but then I remembered what you do. A very bad winter indeed :(

The bug has well and truly bitten you hasn't it. Yes Ron would be heartbroken (I think) if our partnership were to end !

Young lady this winter has been absolutely mental, no matter what anyone's opinion it was just more rain than we could ever cope with and so a lot of work was needed. Detailing is a much more theraputic way of life ;-)

Hey Abz, at the moment I'm keeping it mobile, as a hobby, as I still have a full time job so will be potentially detailing at weekends and if necessary using up annual leave. I don't have the finances to set up a unit etc as down here in Kent it isn't to cheap as you can imagine. I'm just going to see how things go, if my hobby turns into a full time job that I love then awesome but I still get the benefits even if it stays as a hobby.

Young lady you will have to be patient ;-) I'm still awaiting 2 deliveries :ugeek::grin:

Enjoy the smiles and miles.

Cheers Riz, as Abz has said, bit of a miss read in there bud. 120hr weeks were work due to excess rainfall ;-) the van was a mere 32hrs which is just a quick rinse

Enjoy the smiles and miles.
