Jaguar light weight racer 6 selling for 1.2 million

Heard on the radio that the first 1.2million pound jagaur lightweight racer was handed to its owner today. Jagaur done a great job reproducing an classic 1960 car, just watched the TV programme about it and it is some achievement and skill to get these 6 cars made.
I was thinking about if only other car makers could remake some classic cars, i would certainly put my money down for one. E. G Peugeot bringing out a limited run of the 205 gti.
Now that would be something to think about.

There was an hour long programme on the TV last night

The car is nice although the purists aren't happy and they wont be allowed to race at Goodwood etc that said I don't see it as that different to rebuilding a wrecked racing car maintaining the chassis number putting all new parts and panels on it and selling it as the original as has happened in the past

On the plus side once you spend your £1,200,000 you do get a "free" watch! :eusa-whistle:
