Hi guys, is there a best practice for jacking the car up. I need 2 new tyres and my car is off the road at the moment so I want to just take the wheels off and get the tyres changed and not sure where to safely jack it up.

Cheers
Trev.

In case you invest in a trolley jack, or your local tyre fitter doesn't bother to check first.

AS above but vigilantly check your jack points are not bent inwards as this spells trouble you can jack the front up under the wishbone suspension arms its fiddly but a low profile trolley jack will reach underneath no problem as an end note mine have been reinforced by welding reinforcing plates which proves they are absolute crap for cars costing in the region of £30.000 when new
