Is anyone running 245/40/19

Hi All :thumbup: , new to site, have searched but couldn't see, was wondering if anyone was running 245/40/19 instead of the factory 235/40/19 any problems with rubbing and if you have pics would be great, thanks

There are wear marks on the front wheel arch liners on my RCz with standard size tyres I have just ordered 4 vredestien ultra vortis for mine in standard size hope this helps

I was planning to get 2 245/40 19 MPSS later this year when I need to replace my front two tyres.

My understanding is that there might possibly be slight rubbing on full lock, but that the ride quality & grip is slightly improved due to the increased tread width and tyre depth ( although they are still 40 this is actually a percentage calculation of the width so 245/40 are a little deeper than 235/40 - so more tyre wall flex - so slightly less harsh ride) this also means the reported speed will be slightly out, you will be going slightly faster than the speedo shows, so that needs to be considered also.

I think RCZ Performance is running these, so he might have a bit more knowledge about them. :eusa-think:

As long as you do not have your car very low and not spaced your wheels out to the edge, you will not have a rubbing issue with the size you are looking at.
