Introducing me.

As I already mentioned in the profile, I have acquired my RCZ last November after searching for some 2 years. I'm very happay with the roadholding, drive and tourability (due to the huge luggage space). With winter wheels mounted I could even go skiing! I have been warned about the drive chain and tensioners causing problems on these engines (BMW-Peugeot joint venture and development) so that certainly will be on the service list at around 50,000 Km. If anyone wants to meet up in the Darmstadt/Frankfurt area then I'm game for that.
I find forums useful for troubleshooting when faults arise, that's why I've joined this forum.

Hi Stig, welcome to the forum.

Don't let the timing chain put you off, it can be an issue if left unattended, but don't all cars need attention? I know of a guy that had to replace the whole motor in his AUDI at 38000 miles.

The RCZ is a lovely car. I have travelled all around Europe in it. A bit tight for my large figure but I am having loads of fun in it.

I drove it to Germany last year and planning to attend the RCZ European meeting in the Netherlands next year. If you are attending too, come and say hi.
