If you can talk about the product with confidence, then it gives confidence to the buyer. We buy from people that we like. If you think the salesman is an idiot who knows nowt, then you will not be prepared to give him your business. So product knowledge and personality were the things that I sought out when interviewing candidates. If they had the right personality I knew that I could give them the knowledge. Knowledge also comes from experience and so with your past record of Peugeot ownership, I feel that you would certainly have the edge on me as I know nowt about the Peugeot range.
