International meeting

The guys from the French/Belgian RCZ forum are interested in the idea to try and organise an international meeting which our "Brother & Sister's" in the UK and Holland could join. The meeting in the French Alps or the alternative in the German Black Forest is maybe to long drive for must people from England.

The new idea is to have a meetin in the west of Belgium (Ieper) :

- there is only 1 hour drive from Calais
- also 1 hour drive from Zeebrugge

In this part of Belgium there is a lot of history (World War One) and there are lovely town's to visit.

We would like to know what you think of this idea.

BTW there is going to be a Dutch RCZ gathering on September 14, after which we join the Dutch Peugeot meeting in Utrecht.

For a lot people a meet in Portugal is may a little bit to far away, there for the meet in Belgian is not such a big trip

I quite agree but some may wish to attend and make a holiday of it. I had almost finalised hotels on the way down and back to the French meet intending to spread it over nine days. Portugal can be reached by road or ferry and road. Would be a nice holiday. I have never visited Portugal.

Hello guys I have been looking at the calender for 2015 and you (in the UK) have a bank holiday on :

25th may (monday)
31st august (monday)

So if you would come to Belgium for a meet which date would you prefer ?
