What i find frustrating is that with some companies you can take many years of NCB over to them as a new customer but when you decide to leave they only provide their max NCB which sometimes is less than what you went to them with.
Aviva are one of the worst for this.
I went to them 2 years ago taking over to them 9 years NCB, and now 2 years later I'm still claim free, therefor in my calculation thats NOW 11 years NCB when I leave them , but oh no, not Aviva, they have only provided their maximum amount of 5 years but as a goodwill gesture (i kicked up a fuss) they have given me a seperate letter basicaly saying that in the two years I have been with them I havent made a claim, so if I add that to the 5 years max that they show on my renewal notice I now have 7 years NCB, which still means I've lost 4 years somewhere
Work that out. :eusa-think:
Better still avoid the scamming sods.
