Insurance including roof glass

Hi all, I'm looking for anywhere to try for fully comp insurance that covers the glass roof on my RCZR. Any recommendations please? I'm in the UK.

Glass roof??? Unless you have installed the worlds first sunroof in an RCZ I think you'll find it's metal...

RCZ R has a "double-bubble" glass roof. It's not a sunroof.

Definitely metal roof even my carbon fibre covered roof has metal under it! Anyway all insurance companies cover the windows!! And the roofs for what it matters :eusa-think:

OK may be Peugeot HQ have got it wrong too! I sent them a contact form - entered all my RCZ-R details (reg no. etc.) & asked the following......

I am currently trying to find insurance for my RCZ-R but I'm not sure of the specification of the roof of the vehicle. It looks like glass but am told it's metal. Could you please confirm the material so I can make sure I get insurance that covers glass roof if necessary.

This is a never-ending topic around the RCZ. Almost everybody asks me the following question when they see the RCZ first time: Does the roof opens? Is it glass?
Answer: No. And no.
Reply: ohhh, that is a pity. It'd be so nice...

So, it is a sheet of painted metal even if it looks like glass.

This is from the Peugeot system.

As said previously the roof is metal (no 1), there are a choice of 2 panels (no 10) that can go on top of the metal panel.
