Hi folks, just thought I'd say hey.

I've got an RCZ 200 GT ordered which is getting delivered on Wed 30th (I was due to pick up last Monday, but I tested positive for f**king Covid). I've been driving a pretty standard 1.8 Civic 5dr '08 since 2012, so to say I'm excited about getting behind the wheel of an RCZ is an absolute understatement!

Originally had my eye on a TT at the start of the year, but that led me down a rabbit hole to discover the RCZ. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was well within my price range, as having seen one or two around town in Edinburgh, I had always assumed it was likely to be bloody expensive!

This will be the most powerful car I'll have owned, coming in with an extra 62bhp compared to my old Civic. That said, I recently spent 3 years of my life sitting on 9 points (cleared now) so I'll be in no rush to go chancing my luck anytime soon haha!

Side note, could not believe how much more affordable these cars are in England as opposed to Scotland. The one I got in the picture below has 25k on the clock, but up here similarly priced RCZs all had 70k+ or had low mileage but were £2k - £3k more expensive!

Can't... bloody... wait.

Cheers
Kris

Welcome Kris 🖖🏻 So, you’re just going to get over Covid and end up with a stiff neck from looking round as you walk away every time you park up 👀

Safe to say I'm over the moon folks. It's some upgrade from my old '08 Civic 5dr 😁

It's funny, but completely true. Took her through town last evening and caught loads of people staring. Never had that with my Civic I can promise you that haha.

Nice Car 👏 Had mine nearly 9 years now & still on occasion get asked what it is 🤦‍♂️ I sometimes like to park it in a conspicuous place in a car park & then just watch from a distance as people walk past. They will walk past new Audis Hondas etc etc without taking any notice, but it’s amazing how many people still have a couple of looks as they walk past & then another over their shoulder at the RCZ.

Without doubt a timeless classic you have bought there 👍

It’s the longest I’ve ever kept a car, and tbh I have no plans to sell for the foreseeable, even though we have now bought another car, so the Z gets to rest a little more now.
