Illuminated ignition

Hi
Just a general query. With the dark nights sometimes have trouble finding ignition to put key in. Why is the ignition not illuminated - would make life alot easier?

Good question that but the obvious way around it is to install a push button starter switch like my sons Focus ST has I can't believe how simple it is to start his car having the key in your pocket

I’m sure I’ve seen luminous ignition stickers for sale somewhere??
