Im still looking into doing it myself, but my first try was unsuccessful lol. Im going to try printing a template off and doing it that way.

I think this mod looks best of the mk1 front.
On the mk2 the black becomes too much of a square which lacks the aggression it gives on the mk1.

I would just leave it. It will only end up loosing value.

I dont buy cars for their resale value. I buy them for the potential of what I can do to them and how much I like them.
But this wont have any impact on its value as its vinyl so will peel off anyway.
