Hey stevekat, cheers, they are powder coated black ,then the shade of chrome is blown on , then re-powder coated clear . Amazing finish in the flesh and very very tough , not to mention shiny , the company is called "the wheel specialist" hope that helps . There mega professional buddy.

Re: Hi all , this car is flipping fantastic.

Thanks Tomas, I do like to mod cars but I'm always looking for that OE angle , the sort of mods that people who haven't seen the cars up close and personal wouldn't know weren't factory spec, I like to think "tasteful but mean" well at least that's my aim. I'm sure the guys and gals on here will let me know if I fall short with a few shouts of "Chav" or " what the hell" lol next week I'll be installing the quads and xenons + a machine polish and glasscoat (which I guarantee will make the paint look wet) I specialise in this ;0)
So as long as anyone is interested I will continue to post on here my friend . Cheers for now , lainey

That is naturally the best kind of mods, especially on a car like the RCZ ;)

Couldn't agree more. Green calipers is going too far for my conservative tastes

Nothing, just not for me, that's all. My tastes are rather conservative and probably viewed as old fashioned. Fortunately, I have never felt the need to conform to the norm and always been comfortable in my own shoes.

Ok , had some parcels arrive from the MAIN MAN Steve at RCZ performance , now this guy as I'm sure all you veterans already know is such a professional, I rang him with a few queries and he was a fountain of knowledge , easy to talk to and above all a gentleman. Everything has arrived in record time with precise instructions , receipts and manufacturers paperwork all crisp and perfect for my service history. Many thanks Steve , all I can say is what a fantastic service you provide, top notch my friend .....

And so it begins ........ Drl's ...... These are superb. Goodbye yellow, fitted 1 to show comparison

5000k hid kit , I'm not kidding when I say I've had 3 nights driving in pure black countryside and I don't need high beam, stunning power, I've had the slim ballast box ones , will take a pic of night driving soon

Exhausts fitting tommoz , can't wait .....

Painted all callipers now .......

Splitters , dry run to fit the screws , then into primer and paint, fitting tommoz with exhaust ....

Had the dreaded temp glitch today so had it read and cleared , + a new little fault logged too , will sort em next week

On the up side I had an XKR that I wrapped last year come down for a tint , now this was one of the cars in contention when I chose the RCZ , so I parked up next to it to compare physical attributes . And I'm pleased to say the RCZ makes the jag look old.
Great car no denying it , but dated now ,especially the interior.
Oh look something has fell out of a spaceship and landed next to that Jag ;0)

Exhaust and splitter pics next , oh and a brilliant badge. Ttfn
