Ok , I've decided ..... Even though the majority of you have said go RCZ plate , I've looked and all that's available is loads of numbers and then an rcz on the end "1234 RCZ" etc etc ..... So I'm afraid even though you may all beat me i'm gonna go with jassy's suggestion of the "personal to me plate" , so thanks JAS ;0) Transfer in progress.

Hi all , this car is flipping fantastic.

Don't get me started on personalised plates ;) just not my thing but each to their own.

Re: Hi all , this car is flipping fantastic.

Right today was G3 Liquid glasscoat day , number 1 paint protection for 3 years running now. This is a ceramic coating and unlike every other wax or polymer coating like supergard/diamond bright etc etc ,things like TFR and other mild solvents won't fetch it off. No more waxing for me ;0) .
DOWNSIDE ........ This stuff locks in whatever condition your paintwork is in ..... So ....... Unless its a brand new car or very very very well looked after (you know who u are obi1) it means a machine polish is required ....... Bummer ( hard work/time/finesse and mess ) as obiRCZ1 will confirm.
UPSIDE ......... I employ the best in the business ..... So I'll just go and stick the kettle on and make him a drink while he works his magic over the next 7 hours ;0)

Here's the story in pics ..........

Sweet Jesus that looks good!

I'd like to put that G3 stuff on my car aswell but i don't have enough experience to do it myself and there isn't any really good companies that could do it around here either :(

Blooming heck it's very messy to start with !!!!! Never seen anything like that before. What is it made of? Good results at the end though. Nice shine on the black paintwork :)

Think I'll stick with my ceramic Gtechniq coating though. Far less messy;)

Lol , it is messy isn't it obi1  but it's like a mirror when it's finished , and won't need waxing for 5 years now.... Just wash and shammy, I've had it on the tvr now for 4 years and as a test we washed it not long ago and waxed half the bonnet to see if it made any difference to the shine on that half ....... I didn't  this stuff is king lol, best bit is nearly all the water beads and rolls off so one wring out of the shammy is enough to go round the whole car , soooo much easier and I am gettin older so I like an easy life :sleeping-yellow:

Ive heard a good way to test if you need wax is to do a squeak test. If your paint work squeaks when rubbing it, it needs wax.

No Lainey - no shammy :(

But I love waxing - I couldn't live without it ;).

A wax is not designed to add shine. That's the job of polish :) wax tends to add warmth and depth rather than a glassy reflective look of a sealant /coating.
