Hi guys hope you're all well. I thought I'd give you an update on my Palmers fiasco and some pictures of why I fought hard to get this car off them. I hope you like then it's my perfect dream car both in colour outside and in. Perfect altogether not scratch on the car or alloys.
So after nearly having them point blank refuse to sell me the car after all contracts where signed they didn't realise how much money was involved having to give the rcz a major service with timing chain etc especially after such amazing deal I got the car at I literally left them no profit in the sale. I fought hard and they offered to go halves with me to service and fix all the relevant things that needed fixing. I wasn't gonna let this car go with out a fight. They couldn't understand why i loved the car so much. After speaking to another peugeot garage asking their opinion on the situation they said that now all things have been fixed the car should be very reliable and like new as even if I bought a different rcz with lower milage I will still have to outlay these costs at some point so might as well do it now as this car is spotless. Also as it's on fiance with Palmers they have a level of care to make sure this car is always fit for purpose which is a bit more reassuring than buying it privately or a small trader. However although some what happy with the outcome, they have made me very nervous of the future reliability of the car. They were trying so hard to put me off the car so they could sell it through auction. This has made me lose confidence in the car to a point of I'm worried I will have loads of problems with it and I feel it was a major mistake. Please can I ask for all owners to help me regain my confidence in the rcz as a car and that it won't be the biggest mistake I've made in a long time . I wanna know your loves and hates about the car just to put me more at ease over this whole situation thanks again for all of your help.
Many thanks
Sarah

Certainly looks mint... To me if the repairs have been done and it's not as if your getting a 10 year old car then just enjoy it. There's going to be things go wrong through the life of the car just keep this in mind and as long as it puts a smile on your face then you know deep down you made the right choice...

Thanks for coming back to me so quickly. It's a 2010 gt 156 automatic not many of these around in the colour match I like so knew it was gonna be hard to find one again like that.
Have you had any problems with your car if so what?
I got a 2 year warranty with Palmers so I'm hoping it will Iive keep me feeling confident with the car

The car is here now, enjoy it now.
Don't worry about the future as you can't change it until it arrives!

I think they were just trying to scare you so they could pass it on to another branch and make more of a profit.

There are well documented problems on here so if anything does happen, people on here have probably already experienced it and have the fix!
