Bad weather doesn't half play havoc on white cars or winter white as JWT came up with

And no it's not the new brownstone version more like opal after good wash  :D

That only 1 week without a bath :eusa-think:

Yes mine was looking like that until I cleaned it this morning. Pearl hadn't been washed for 3 weeks. She's looking very pretty now :)

just finished giving Pearl2 her bath. First time in three weeks, smae as Pearl then RCZ1  Now I don't feel so bad about leaving her winter coat on for so long. However no tyre treatment  It's too damn cold out there.
I found a few scratches as a result of the winter tyres going on  Only marks on my wheels are from tyre fitters

It's extremely cold out there. I'm still trying to thaw out. Pearl had a very quick bath (for me anyway) - 2 hours, but I did manage to slap on a quick coat of tyre dressing. Although I have to admit, I didn't when I washed her 3 weeks ago.

Ron, I also have some little nicks on my alloys from when the dealer changed my two front tyres. They are only tiny and I suppose to some degree cannot be avoided.

On another note Ron, I wish it was this time last week ............ :)

Rizz and I now have snow in Aberdeen....woop!!! So we're both relishing our newly fitted winter tyres......whilst my OH had to abandon the C63 at our friends 10miles away ....it was just going NOWHERE! Thank goodness my pal has a Nissan Pathfinder to run us home whilst the Merc will be collected 'sometime'...... Hopefully not March!!!

Ah the beauty of rear wheel drive ........ This is what puts me off buying any BMW / Merc, etc. I hope you manage to get it home soon. I bet you are feeling very smug ;)

Now now, don't be like that. I've got an RWD 1983 Corolla as my winter car with 175/65 studded winter tires from 2004 or something, They're essentially plastic! Driving in snow with RWD is THE MOST fun you can ever have in all of life! And here we don't just have a patch of snow here and there, it's 30-40 cm thick at the best of times.

It's so easy when you're used to it, if you just drive with a bit of common sense. I think it's easier to drive the RWD Corolla than my FWD 406 in snow. I always go out driving during snowstorms cause that's the funniest time to be out and about

The big problem with for instance a C63 or a BMW that people doesn't understand is the stupidly wide tires. You are not supposed to have wide winter tires. While it may look and sound good, it defeats the whole purpose of them. Narrow tires cut through snow while wide tires float ontop of the snow, see how that works? About the widest tires that are good i would say something like 205/55 or maximum 215/55 or something there about.
