Picket up the stuff from RCZPerformance today! Great service so thank you for that! I will most likely be ordering something more later on too ;)

Keyring

LED Daytime Running Lights (60 LED's) Had no problems installing, was done in 10 minutes or so :) They actually look a bit yellow/greenish here in the picture but i do hope that's just cause of the daylight?!

Ended up having to wait in an intersection for like 40 kids (around age 10-12) out on bikes today as i went home from work and by the looks of it there were a lot of snapping necks there :D They were all looking at the RCZ!

And when i drove off i had to go past them again cause we were going the same direction so most of them were looking backwards still until i passed, even the teachers :D

I liked the attention i got (and well i would have to driving an RCZ) but as a kid i always turned my head too when a cool car went by, and i still do naturally. So it's nice to be able to "show off" a car a (especially to kids) that's a bit more special than the otherwise dull old Mercedes or BMW driving around here when there aren't many really cool cars around here :)

Went out for a little drive around some backroads today. I probably had a pretty high average speed.... :eusa-whistle: Car pulls good above 4000rpm in 4th
Was the first time i've gotten to test the car a little more on twisty roads too. Only problem was that there were a lot of bumps in the road so i was a bit fearful of the rims :( But they made through it so it's all good.

A few quick pictures i took while letting the car "cool down" a bit:

These were the kinda roads i was on, altho this is in a small village.

The LED's are still there

That's all for now ;)

Took a few pictures yesterday :) Only phonecamera så they're not that sharp but still.

Also had the pleasuse of BEING REVERSED INTO yesterday! --.-- The idiot got off lucky tho as it only left a small paintmark behind the left side wheel on the bumper. Was able to rub it away, and no dents occured. Inspected it today and it looks fine from what i can tell. Thank god for that.

Hi, just joined & found the comments on winter tyres really helpful. I've contacted my local dealer who in turn has contacted Continental direct and is being told that they dont do winter tyres for the RCZ as per detailed size TS830P 235/40 19

I dont really want to buy online and could do with some help finding a supplier as dont want to get ripped off.

Had an accident in light snow last year so really want to get some ready for the winter period. Also what is the best time to get these put onto the car?

Also anyone have any idea the best place to buy a spare at a reasonable cost, given the boot has the option available seems a bit stupid to drive around and rely on the "repair kit"

Thanks

Continental do do winter tyres that size, but the load rating is too low. Dunlop and Pirelli do winter tyres for the RCZ but they are between £250 - £300 a tyre.

I only did a quick search so there may be cheaper.
If you go up to a 45 profile then they are cheaper. Will only affect your speedo by a couple of MPH. I wouldnt go down in profile for snow tyres though.

Well that seems very strange to me. Is this yet another case of poor advice from a Peugeot dealership or something else? I bought 4 x 235/40 V 19 TS830 Fuel: F. Grip: C. Noise 72dB on 29/11/2012 and paid £811.20.

I was told by the tyre shop that I used that they were Porsche tyres. They worked fantastic and will be going back on next year. Any Tyre place will be able to order them in for you and now is as good a time as any to buy them as winter tyres are always cheaper in the summer months.

Good luck

Yup, as Ron says, this is nonsense. These are the tyres that you need:

http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop. ... eugart=ALL

Any reputable tyre fitter or your local Peugeot dealership (although yours sound like they need to go read up on the RCZ a bit) should be able to order them for you if you don't want to order them online. Mytyres.com is reputable though and I have had good experiences using them. That aside, you'll save money using them. Now is the time to purchase them if you want the cheapest deals.

As for when to fit them, I'm up in Aberdeen so generally we are amongst the first to experience the cold weather and we generally fit them anywhere around the end of Oct or early November.

Abz, not sure where you got that info about them being the incorrect but they are absolutely the right load carrying tyre rating.

I thought the load rating was W for the RCZ. So I assumed V was too low :(

What size tires are we talking about? 18" or 19"?

The winter tires i have are 18" and i haven't actually gotten around to testing them myself as i haven't owned the car for that long :D

The full specs of my tires are: Nokian Hakkapelitta R 225/45 R18 95R EXTRA LOAD
