There hasn't been any tar or dead insects that I haven't been able to remove easily using old nylon panties (or nickers if you wish) tied in a knot and made wet. The fine fabric is very suitable for cleaning and won't cause scratches.

Sounds a bit kinky that Frank ;)

Doesn't sound very comfortable either. Maybe the best use for them :eusa-think:

I work for a paint manufacuter , the best thing to remove tar is a product called xylene , basically all tar remover is , is xylene watered down , i am happy to get some from work if need be if people want to collect some from me , basically you just dab it on the spot and wipe it away :)

That sounds very easy to work with :) However i got rid of my tar for the moment now. Did take a bit of rubbing to get the worst etched in spots away but it worked eventually :)

Yeah, sad news people.... I was going home last night and missed the exit from a yard.

Looks a bit worse than it is i think. Only thing gone is the front and left sideskirt along with a plastic cover under the engine. And the parking sensors stopped working and headlights seemed to vibrate when i drove home, could be some attach point gone. Eitherway i'm so mad at myself for letting this happen :( :(

I just more or less rolled into there cause it was like 6 meters from my starting point.

I'll have a chat with the insurance company on monday to hopefully sort it out.

Oh i don't care about me! Look at the car man! :(

Anyway the sideskirt popped back into position directly, but there's a slight bump where it left hanging that's barely noticeable. I don't know if i can live with knowing it's there tho so while they're at it changing all the other parts they get to do that one too.

Hope you get back to how you want it to be!

I'm still rubbing my wife up & down over a few tar spots, I think she might prefer me to get the xylene out of the garage
