Hullo and a 2014 Peugeot 308 and it's GPS!

A post to introduce myself to the forum, I have just changed a 14 year old Peugeot 307 for a 2014 Peugeot 308 1.6HDi, the change being the reason for joining. The car is great except for the satelite navigation system which I find very awkward to use after the Garmin Nuvi that I have had for years. I would like to be able to copy the waypoints from the Gramin to the vehicle, they are stored as a .GPX file, I guess I first need to identify the unit fitted to the car which I suspect is an RT6 unit, is there a way of accessing this information from the screen? Anybody any ideas?

GPSUnderground has a wealth of information/updates regarding both the NG4 & RT6 systems. A search on there might reveal what your looking for.

Thanks for your help, After my old portable Garmin unit the Peugeot/Citroen affair takes a bit of getting used to but at least I've cracked the deleting of unwanted saved 'Contacts', storing them with your phone contacts is seems a bit strange, the next task is waypoints!
