How many litres in the tank?

hi,

I have been wondering what is the fuel capacity of the tank.
on the paper it says 55 litres, and it says that when you get the first "beep" alert, it means that you have 5 litres remaining in the tank.

however I have drove the car untill it gives me the "beep" alert, so i went to fill the tank. but it allows me to put only 45 Litres. I'm not very good at maths but that means that at the first "beep' there is 10 litres remaining OR that the tank capacity is 50 litres and not 55.

have you notice that yourself?

Should I play the devil and drive it furthermore to confirm that?

Guessing that it's not an exact science, there are too many variables but as long as you don't run out of fuel all's well

I always put petrol in before I get the beep. I don't like to get down to that low a level.

lowfuel levels put strain on pumps etc... id just play it safe, assume its a 50 litre tank and adjust driving and enjoy

I always keep driving untill the tank is almost empty.

With my 206 my personal best is 52.6l in a tank wih is according to Peugeot 50l.
