Hid units any magical cure on units…..

Hi guys….

This has probably been covered before so just hoping any new magical cure to get these lights back to new condition…
As you can see age and weather definitely kicking in on these and as they the Hid units from what I see nearly impossible to get a new set….

I take to my halogen lights with a drop of farecla 360 on a mini buff, ceramic coat, then two coat of autoglym uhd, by doing them at the starting summer they seem to last okay til next. Have considered cleaning back and putting a couple of coats of clear lacquer to see if that would stay nice for longer that a yearish.

It is possible to get replacement covers on aliexpress, but that involves opening up the headlight unit and then resealing it.

I simply used autoglym super resin and buffed vigorously by hand to clear substantial longterm clouding - using a rotary buffer, avoiding paint, followed by extra gloss protection
