A very warm welcome.

This is one of the friendliest car sites going.

You might have noticed a slight spat in the last few days but that was the first time I’ve encountered any problems since I joined.

Look forward to seeing your contributions I.d.c.

Thanks all - only this morning somebody asked if they could 'borrow my Audi' but I guess we all get that, and personally I'd always choose a car that's more individual anyway.

Tbh I had some long standing engine problems that main dealers wanted to strip the car down to investigate ('it might be a right off mate...') - really not impressed and I was on the verge of throwing in the towel. Then I found a brilliant back street French car specialist that really knows these cars and was prepared to take an interest. Turns out I had a faulty 'exhaust camshaft de-fazer solenoid'. £79.86 later and I feel I have a new car that I want to keep forever.

So now I'm just looking at a few bodywork bits and bobs I'll sort - rear bumper/ fading door colour/ wheel scrapes/ I'd like some mirror shells and interested in all the chatter about wrapping (maybe a longer term project - loving the Dolphin for now but fair to say I'm not a purist!)

Really interested in advice from this forum, wondering if I should post these things individually though?

Welcome!

Don't worry about that "audi" comment. Once while I still had my R the police sent me a speeding ticket stating I was speeding in my Porsche. I replied, you got the wrong guy cause I do not own a Porsche.

That’s so common with the petrol engines that some mechanics just throw parts at em until they find the right one and that’s why they get such bad press you need guys who know these motors inside out and problems can be quickly solved and at a lot cheaper cost too 👍
You can post as many times on as many different subjects as you want no worries.
