Few days ago, I installed galaxy tab2 7.0 to my RCZ.

Since Korean version of RCZ has shitty navigation system, so I removed that stupid system and

replaced with Samsun Galaxy tab2 7.0.

It looks good and work well, too.

I mainly use tab for navigation, music player and car monitoring (via to torque app)

I wish I had fancy screen like you guys have, but we don't import that version

anyway Here's few pictures of my RCZ and Mini.

nice to meet you guys

Welcome. That is indeed an unusual dashboard. Never seen one like that before. I assume that is how you get over the issue of not importing the sat nav version of the car. I believe that Australia doesn't do either. Hope that you are enjoying your car. I see that you have Xenon lights too

I love that color

If you look closely, between 22 and 5400 there's Korean letter in there. :)

Firstly, welcome to the forum. It's always nice to welcome a new member...particularly one with such a fine choice in colour! Secondly, I'm very impressed with your solution to the lack of sat nav/touchscreen! Does it not obscure your vision?

It does obscure my vision a little bit, but it's ok to drive anyway. :D

Since tab is connected with stock system via bluetooth, I could still use steering wheel remote control.

I know It looks awkward, but I'm happy with what I have done :D

Welcome! Great color...

You say you replaced the original satnav.
As your RCZ is the classic, that would have been the NG4 system and the pop-up screen was replaced with the Samsung system. Correct?
Can you tell a bit more about the replacement?
Do you still use the NG4 for radio & music?
Can you operate the system using the NG4 controls in the dashboard or behind the wheel?
Maybe you can post some pictures of the rest of your interior.

Korean version didnt come with pop up screen. I wish I had that one thou.

Instead of pop up screen, Korean version had stupid nav system which I had never heard of.

So I replaced that one with Samsung.

My RCZ came with RD4 not NG4 , and RD4 is still intact, I could still use RD4 for music and radio.

As I said before, RD4 and SAMSUNG is connected via bluetooth which means I could listen samsung through RD4 .

I will post more pictures of my car later today thanx

Here's more pictures of interior of my car.

I believe it's RD4 not NG4.

Trip screen located in between RD4 and HVAC control.

Second picture is wireless internet modem, unfortunately it's only work in my country.

With that modem I could upload or download anyfiles including mp3, updates ect...

If you have question about this set-up, feel free to ask anything anytime. :D
