Hello guys!

I'm Thomas from Germany and yesterday I ordered my 155hp RCZ in shark grey.
My Peugeot dealer told my that there are some delivery-problems with the 19"Solstice rims, so I ordered the 19" Sortilege Midnight Silver.
But I'm not sure if this was the right dicision.
When I look at the RCZ from user imjacobs (see picture below) I'm thinking about to change my order from Sortilege Midnight Silber to Solstice Anthra Grey.
(I'm not 100% sure ... are these the 19" Solstice Anthra Grey on this picture?
In Germany they are called "Magny-Cours")
Even if I have to wait 1-2 month longer...
Any proposals from here?

Hi Thomas and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on ordering your rcz

The wheels in the picture are solistice anthra grey. In the UK there are no supply issues with the solstice alloy wheels.

Hi Thomas. Welcome to the forum. Long time extra to wait but IMHO you should order the car you really want rather than let the wait be the deciding factor.

Hope you make your mine up soon. Either way you won't be dissapointed with the car its amazing.

Cheers Grant.

Hi Thomas and welcome to the forum :greetings-wavingblue: . I agree with Grant, you should order what your heart says and be prepared to wait, otherwise you might not be happy with second best.

Hi Thomac.

I'm interested in the winter tyres. I'm in Moenchengladbach and my RCZ is ordered for 1 September. What did it cost you for the winter tyres? If there's going to be an iissue over delivery, I may get them ordered over the summer. Did Peugeot source them for you?

Hi,
I got Michelin Alpin winter tyres from a tyre specialist in Kevelaer last year (end of November just before winter tyres were made mandatory on German roads) for a bit over EUR. 1000 (including changing tyres).
These were 18" though.
The size is a bit different from the "regular" sizes; 235/45 R18 where the more usual size is 240/40 R18.
I believe the RCZ type is also used on SUVs, like BMW X3.
I can recommend the Michelins, there was a lot of snow last winter and I haven't had any grip problems with them.

Thanks Frank, the information is very useful. We all got caught last year when the Federal Government made the winter tryes mandatory. I ended up sourcing mine in the UK!!! I got Continentals for my VW Beetle. Now I need to sell them to get some of my money back as I will have only used them once!

I think I'm going to ask my dealer to put all weather tyres on before I pick it up.

I see you are not too far from me. How about a meet up in September when I get my RCZ?
