Hi to all, I have been looking at this site for a couple of weeks as have just bought my wife a surprise birthday gift of .... ...wait for it ....... a 2011 RCZ GT 163 diesel. Can i say this site is very good for hints, tips, advice, pics etc etc and a credit to all who participate on it.

The car I have bought is classed as grey but looks nearer black to me (i am sure someone will know what the colour is) with silver arches and full leather interior. She is not looking for a change of car as currently drives a John Cooper Mini Cooper S which is very nice (started as a project for me but now completed) but has always fancied a Golf ?? which i don't particularly like but we went to see one at a local showroom and by pure coincidence ;-) an RCZ was parked next to it. I have one doubt in that we have a 7 year old daughter and the rear seats are, shall we agree, not the largest and that is the only thing she didn't like. However she has never driven one whereas I have and I love it.

I have already checked out RCZ Performance site and will be looking to add a few extras soonest possible including quad exhaust (like the Zunsport but believe is for looks only) and like the Bastuck system particularly the rear valance as gives a great looking rear end - not that it isnt already.

Anyway looking forward to checking in here frequently and getting some further tips.

:greetings-wavingblue: great choice of car. Your wife will love it & the rear seats are made for 7 year olds :eusa-think: just don't let her get to 8 or you might struggle :eusa-whistle:

Thanks for the welcome, I am sure she will love it - as I do. Due to collect it next week and I can't wait to pick it up and see her face

Have just made my first purchase to start personalising her (the car not my wife before anyone asks  ) - Footrest and RCZ Performance stickers from RCZ Performance via this excellent forum. I am sure there will be more items to follow but wioll update as and when.

Well here she is and my wife was completely surprised and overwhelmed when she has seen it. Have had it hidden it mates garage for 2 weeks and spent all last weekend cleaning and polishing to the high standard the Z deserves. She is great to drive and takes pride of place in the drive with loads of admiring glances and comments from the neighbours.

Looking good Norman :) You'll both be fighting over who is going to be driving it now.
