I'm sure there will be plenty of advice offered on here. As usual, those with diesels will expel the virtues of diesel version, while those with the 1.6 petrol variants will uphold the benefits of petrol engines.

I'm not sure the extent of your RCZ knowledge so basics :-

All petrol engined RCZ's are 1.6 but come in 156, 200 & 270 BHP versions. There are also three variants, Sport, GT, & R.
The 156 & 200 BHP versions are available in both Sport & GT. The R has exclusively the 270 BHP.

The differences between Sport & GT can be found on these pages with a bit of a search (basically levels of equipment & handling).

The Diesel is 163 BHP (HDI). There are many more qualified on here to tell you more about the Diesel versions.

From what I know, if you are doing a lot of shorter trips, the best option for you would be petrol, as this can cause a few issues in the diesel variants.

There are two phases of RCZ 2010-2013 phase 1 2013-2016 phase 2. The main difference between the 2 is the front end phase 2 having led daylight running lights (DRL's) phase 1 having inset fog lights.

Search through the various threads on here & you will learn what to look for when buying an RCZ & just post any questions you can't find an answer to.

Whatever variant you get, you will be so much more than happy with it & smiles will ensue for the duration your new RCZ owns you
